This Week’s Cover: The dish on ‘The Help’
This past Sunday at 10 PM, Against the Wall premiered with its pilot episode…and it’s pretty great! Who knew Lifetime had it in ‘em? Job well done.
It’s a unique spin on the ordinary cop drama. The main character (Rachael Carpani) is a single beat cop who makes detective and chooses to take an opening in Internal Affairs - against the wishes of her cop dad and three brothers.
Definitely worth a look…and the first episode’s free on iTunes!
Pros
- Papa Stark!
- Retro awesomeness
- Pretty rad plot/fight scenes
- Great moustaches.
Cons
- Sketchy CGI of skinny, pre-Captain America Steve Rogers
- Red Skull [grossss!]
And an Avengers trailer at the end? Well played, sirs.
